Classically trained Pennsylvania painter Paula Graham specializes in abstract acrylic, realistic oils, and traditional watercolors. Graham took her first art class at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago while she was teaching writing at Roosevelt University. When she returned to the East coast she developed her watercolor technique with prominent Delaware artist Sarah Yeoman and now studies with Neil Carlin at the Carlin Academy of Fine Art in Kennett Square, PA. Before the pandemic restricted access to in-person study, Graham explored abstract painting with Susan Melrath, a lead instructor with the Creative Visionary Program, focusing on the principles of value, design and composition. In addition to her successful career as a painter, Graham also studies and practices Chinese medicine under the direction of Nan Lu, OMD. wakeupqi.com
